About PatentAgility
PatentAgility is an AI/ML/NLP-based patent and trademark analysis toolkit designed to make intellectual property review faster and more transparent. It combines public USPTO data, focused machine-learning and natural language processing systems, and lawyer-built workflows for day-to-day legal practice.
How PatentAgility works
PatentAgility uses locally operated models, maintained application code, and public USPTO data. It is built around defined legal workflows and produces results intended for professional review.
Selected PatentAgility code is open source, and the broader system is available for appropriate technical review. Companies and law firms may ask their IT teams to review relevant systems and security controls. Contact Kirk (opens in a new tab) to arrange a review. Security-sensitive and operational portions of the codebase are not public; selected code is available on GitHub.

PatentAgility was designed and coded by Kirk Sigmon at KellDann Law (opens in a new tab). The project began during his master's studies at the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth (opens in a new tab), and upcoming PatentAgility work is part of Kirk's fellowship with MIT CSAIL (opens in a new tab).
